The essay focuses in addition on their subject, their creator and how she approached her work, and places them in the spirit of their time. And to the love they continue to spread to this day.


An overview of our historic logo: In these pages we can follow a century of different, mostly circular logos as they changed over time and this makes it possible for collectors to establish which period their favorite pieces originate from. The second third of the book reveals the host of Eleven Dot Angels in all their variety and depth, showing every Eleven Dot Angel of which we are aware that has been produced in the Grünhainichen workshops in the past one hundred years. A real milestone in the history of the Eleven Dot Angels. This well-structured reference book presents 500 different angels each with a picture and short text - it names their designer, reveals the period of their production, documents changes, shows color variations, and gives an account of the occasion, the commission, and whether it was a limited edition or had any special features. It shows angels with and without instruments, Christmas tree decorations and anniversary angels. And also commissions from companies and retailers. Music boxes, organs, clocks, table wreaths and candelabras which feature Eleven Dot Angels are also included in the book and are certain to be a revelation.
